Ⅰ. Introduction to Low Voltage Cold Cable Joint

Low voltage cold cable joints are components that use high elastomer materials (commonly used silicone rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber) to be injection vulcanized in the factory, then enlarged and lined with plastic spiral supports to form various cable accessories.

Low voltage cold shrink cable accessories products are suitable for 0.6/1kV PVC, XLPE, and EPR single-core, two-core, three-core, four-core, and five-core power cables. Cold shrinkable cable accessories have the advantages of small size, easy and rapid operation, no need for special tools, wide application range and few product specifications. Compared with heat-shrinkable cable accessories, it does not require fire heating and is widely used in various fields such as electric power, petrochemicals, metallurgy, railways, and port construction.

1. High-Performance Insulation Material

Ⅴ. Installation Guide

1. Pre-Installation Preparation

Read the Guide: Before the installation process begins, go through the installation guide so as to prepare all tools and materials.

Inspect Cables: Make sure that cables are clean, dry and not damaged or worn out.

2. Installation Steps Attach Cables

Use the steps from the installation guide to attach the detachable connector cables to the cables. Make sure each step is done exactly as told so that quality of installation can be assured.

Check Connections: After putting it in, do all needed checks to make sure connections are secure and electrical performance is good.

3. Maintenance Recommendations Regular Checks

From time to time look at how well cable joints are working so any problems can be found early for long steady work.

Cleaning cable joints removes dust and dirt from their surfaces hence more life.
