Ⅰ. Introduction to Outdoor Cold Shrink Termination
Cold shrink cable terminations are components that use high elastomer materials (commonly used silicone rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber) to be injection vulcanized in the factory, then enlarged and lined with plastic spiral supports to form various cable accessories.

Compared with heat-shrinkable cable accessories, it does not require fire heating and is widely used in various fields such as electric power, petrochemicals, metallurgy, railways, and port construction.
Ⅱ. Features of Outdoor Cold Shrink Termination
1. Made from High-performance Liquid Silicone Rubber
This material combines excellent electrical and mechanical properties, so as to assure stable working of the terminals under any extreme condition. Great elasticity, heat resistance, and anti-aging properties increase the life span of the terminals; hence reducing maintenance costs.
2. Great Muscle
Outside cool-contract closures stand solid under furious mechanical weight, taking care of different control cable details and sorts. Whether for single-core or three-core cables, it guarantees a secure fit between the terminal and the cable, halting any relaxing due to mechanical vibration or outside powers.
3. High UV and Weather Resistance
The material of the terminal resists a long period effect of the UV degradation, thus it can maintain its performance even if installed outdoor under direct sunlight for a long time. This product has high weather resistance that can be used in various climatic conditions, high/low temperature, humidity, and dry condition.

The outdoor cold-shrink terminal has high-grade insulation properties. The design ensures resistance to both corona and tracking. There is no possibility for corona discharge or any tracking formation even if operated under high voltage and high humidity conditions; hence, it improves the service life of the terminal.

The terminal comprises elements for stress regulation that efficaciously resolve concentrations of stress at points where cable shielding has been cut off. By ensuring a uniform distribution of electric fields, there will be no partial discharge during operation thereby enhancing the electrical performance as well as reliability.
