H2 Installation Steps of 1kV Four Core Heat Shrink Termination

Step 1: Prepare the Cable and Remove the Outer Jacket

First, measure and mark the required stripping length according to the installation requirements.

Remove the outer cable sheath carefully without damaging the insulation layer and internal conductors.

Step 2: Strip Cable Insulation and Separate the Four Cores

After removing the outer sheath, separate the four cable cores and prepare them for termination installation.

Step 6: Install Cable Lugs and Crimp Terminals

Insert the cable conductor into the terminal lug.

Use a hydraulic crimping tool to compress the terminal securely.

After crimping, remove sharp edges to avoid damaging the insulation tube.

Step 7: Final Heat Shrinking and Inspection

Slide the insulating heat shrink tube over the terminal area.

Heat the tube evenly until it completely shrinks.

Finally, check the whole termination for:

· Proper sealing

· Complete shrinking

· Secure grounding connection
